Passing Before Lifes Very Eyes

The title of this illustration by Wolfgang gives you a good idea about what is ahead of you and to come when you take a look into his use of pathos. At first the elderly man looks as if he is dying alone, however, before he passes its like his life and memories flash back before his eyes as some would say. It takes him back to times in one's life that everyone likes to remember such as being with his wife, teaching others, reading to what seems to be a grandchild of his, and many more. At the end he gets upset when he realizes that he is not going to heaven and that "everything fades to black and it's over".

Yes I agree when you said that he seems alone in the beginning but as you continue to read you see that he had a fulfilled life, and you feel less sorry for him. I also agree that he gets mad once he figures out that he is not going to heaven, and that things just fade away. How do you feels about some of the images in the middle of the comic?

I agree with Wonder Woman that he does seem alone when we first see him. Though as we see his life we can see that in a sense that he is not lone. He is surrounded by his fallen friends and family. This old man, reminds me of my grand father.
